TRiPS Community Guidelines
By participating in TRiPS PGH Community events, workshops, and digital forums, you agree to uphold the following guidelines, which reflect the values and intentional practices that shape our community culture:
Respect for All:
We are committed to creating a welcoming environment for everyone, regardless of gender, sexuality, race, ethnicity, or socioeconomic status. We will not tolerate any form of discrimination, harassment, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, or racism. If you experience or witness any such behavior, please notify a community steward or TRiPS team member immediately.Inclusive Engagement:
Strive to ensure all voices are heard and respected. Practice active listening and allow space for others to share their perspectives. If you find yourself dominating the conversation, consider stepping back to make room for others. Conversely, if you are holding back, we encourage you to share your thoughts and experiences.Compassionate Communication:
Communicate openly, kindly, and without judgment. Assume good intentions, seek to understand different perspectives, and approach conflicts with empathy and patience. While we encourage dialogue and the sharing of diverse viewpoints, any behavior that is hurtful, prejudiced, or hateful will not be tolerated. If an issue arises, we encourage direct and respectful conversations to resolve conflicts whenever possible.Community Care:
We are responsible for each other's well-being within this community. While we do not presume to know what is best for anyone else, we promote safe, thoughtful, and intentional practices around psychedelics. If you have concerns about someone's physical, psychological, or spiritual well-being, please express your concerns compassionately and reach out to a TRiPS team member or community steward if needed.Shared Accountability:
Building a safe and supportive community requires facing conflicts and holding each other accountable to these guidelines. If you witness or experience any disrespectful behavior, we encourage you to speak up promptly. Avoid letting tensions simmer out of conflict-avoidance; instead, address concerns openly and constructively.Integrity and Safety:
This community space is not a marketplace for substances. Refrain from incriminating yourself or others by discussing illegal activities or making exchanges. We prioritize harm reduction and the safety of our community members above all else.Heart-Centered Participation:
Approach all interactions with an open heart, ready to both listen and share. We value authenticity, vulnerability, and a commitment to personal growth, recognizing that each of us contributes to the collective evolution of the community.
