TRiPS April Book Club
Sunday, April 19th (Bicycle Day!)
11:00 AM
Location: Zoom
Cost: FREE
You are invited to join us for TRiPS Pittsburgh's April Book Club meetup.
This month we are reading Zig Zag Zen by Allan Badiner.
*More than ever, people are in pursuit of greater fulfillment in their lives, seeking a deeper spiritual truth and strategies for liberation from suffering. Both Buddhism and psychedelics are inevitable subjects encountered on the journey to wisdom.
Examined together, the reader may understand more deeply the essence of each. Edited by Tricycle contributing editorAllan Badiner and with art edited by renowned visionary artist Alex Grey, Zig Zag Zen features a foreword by Buddhist scholar Stephen Batchelor, a preface by religion historian Huston Smith, and numerous essays, interviews, and art, that lie outside the scope of mainstream anthologies.
This is a confidential, judgment-free space designed for openness, respect, and genuine connection.
This event is free and open to all. Please RSVP for the Zoom link.

Our Mission
Our mission at the Three Rivers Psychedelic Society (TRiPS) is to foster informed, safe, and compassionate use of psychedelics and cannabis, primarily serving the Pittsburgh, PA area and its surroundings. We dedicate ourselves to advancing public education, supporting scientific research, and advocating for policy reform, all while emphasizing harm reduction, mental health, and a deep respect and reverence for these substances. Our approach is grounded in honoring the cultural and historical significance of psychedelics and cannabis, as we work to broaden our reach in the future.
